Earlier this month I did a posting called Egill's projects. There is a picture of a poplar bed I had up for grabs. The cherry will be essentially the same. I'm currently on a different computer and don't have access to my photos.

One more bed for sale and Pennsic delivery

I had a couple of projects pushed off until after Pennsic and had lumber and time enough to get one more bed finished. It is made of Cherry and is full sized. It goes together with modern bed hardware and is simple enough that my wife can put ours together herself in about 5 minutes. I am charging $...

Glastonbury chairs are not "Just English". This type of chair is seen in paintings from France in the late 1400's. The design can be argued whether or not the back is narrower than the seat. To the best of my knowledge there are no complete examples from period. The famed Glastonbury chair...

Very nice stuff. I've been getting more into woodworking myself. I'd love to make chairs like those. I've already made a bed. Can't find plans anywhere though. Guess I'll have to do what you did, and just "make it up as I go". Once we get moved & set up again, the shop is always open....

Egill's projects

Since I posted about the extra bed I had, I've had quite a bit of interest in what I make. It's been suggested I put some pictures up. We can build just about anything. We don't use plans, just look at a picture & make the wood look like the picture & fit modern people. In some instances we ...

The full sized bed has been sold. The queen size that can be picked up after Pennsic is still available & can be seen at Pennsic. I do not have a queue at the moment. We are getiing ready to move at the end of August. Once I have a shop set up again, I'll post here to let everyone know. If there...

I'm interested but I'd like to see pictures and your asking price before commenting. Sean Too much sawdust has rotted my brain. I'll post pix tomorrow. I'm asking $175 for this bed. I'll have a beutiful Oak queen size available after Pennsic for $300. My wife wants Walnut to match the Glastonbury c...

Anyone need a bed for Pennsic?

I built a full sized camp bed & the buyer couldn't afford it. Now it's up for grabs. I will deliver it to Pennsic since it's too big to ship. Slat bed that uses modern hardware for rediculously easy assembly but will hold up to normal or even above normal use. I don't think this is the venue for...
