Is this the model you are using: https://www.shockdoctor.com/ultra-shockskin-5-pad-impact-short Also, for your next pair, would you get the MMA Pad: https://www.shockdoctor.com/velocity-shockskin-mma-6-pad-impact-short-with-ultra-carbon-flex Clearly the inner thigh pads are a waste, but the rest see...

Re: Shock Doctor pads as hidden legs?

I use the extended thigh impact short in lieu of cuisses. They work well enough, but you are quite aware of every block you miss. I have only briefly used more traditional leg armor, and these are among the best version of the padded shorts I've used. The best ones I ever used were a version of foo...

Re: Armour Kit Manual - I need your help!

I'm not sure that a guide based on examples of SCA kits is the way to go. The guide should be based on images for paintings, illuminated manuscripts, and extant examples. A few examples of some nice SCA kits would round out your guide, but the SCA kits should not be the focus. The Dawn of Chivalry ...

I'm not SCA, but if anything in my "Want to be a Hungarian guy" off that forum is helpful to you, please feel free to re-use it. Needle felt is cheap, and a really thick caftan would help hide a lot of otherwise-unacceptable armor. I really want other people to provide the photos and write up of th...

That is the planned next step. Will the belt simply not fit under the mail? If it won't, I recommend EvoShield: http://www.evoshield.com/shop/sports/football/football-protective-gear/evoshield-hybridpro-protective-rib-shirt-adult Really low profile, and comfy. Your maille, basket hilt, shield, and helm all look fantastic! However, it would really seal the deal if the kidney belt was under the maille.

Subject pretty much covers it, need a riveted or welded mild steel large avintail. The helm its going on will be 27 1/2" around at the brow band (which is where the avintail will attach. Budget is in the ball part of $150, turn around time needs to be under a month so an off the shelf piece would b...

My manufacturer is looking into voiders.

We can certainly do standards or skirts. I would just need to know the specs you want.

For example: Skirt, 40" circumference waist, 20" long, 50" circumference at the hem/bottom.

Please email me the specs you want and I'll get a price.

Bjorn2bwild on this forum has done this. He created a casing for the camera which he then mounted to his helm. All of that said, if you can sell actual fitted shirts at this kind of price, great. If the bad ring count is better than most, great. If the rings weren't quite so flat, even better. Now the greedy part - fitted should really mean that there is expansion in the back over the shoulder blades.... Ni...
