I've got a new kettle being made up by shamrock armoury and want to have him put an aventail on it also. Does anyone have pictures of sca kettles with an aventail attached so I can get an idea of how I want it attached and set up?

I don't have this helm, but I do have another shamrock helm. Absolutely love it, rock solid and amazing work for the price he charges. I recommend him to anyone looking for armour whole heartedly

If you need to sell it badly and quickly I would recommend taking a tape measure to it and giving people detailed measurements of the sizing instead of "little big". Not trying to be a dick, but no one would want to spend the amount youre asking off of that kind of sizing.

I'm not quite sure why people are bashing this idea, but then lovingly embrace Sir Vitus's shields. They are along the same prinicpal, something really pretty not meant for everyday use.
