It may be more broadly categorized as an upholstery item, rather than a leather-only item. Might help your search.

Looking at the pics, it seems like it would cover the fingers just fine if you were to hold it differently than PB is doing. I don't know much about carpentry, especially biblical/ancient technique, but how would they go about extracting a nail? Did they have a pry bar with a notch? They didn't have claw hammers then, right?

Depends on whether I get a rush to begin with.

But I always feel good afterwards, mainly because of how nice it feels to exercise. I usually have very little trouble falling asleep when I go to bed after an evening practice. If anything, I feel better.
