Okay this is not a review i ever wanted to do but i feel i now have no choice since i have expended all other possible avenues. My first order for a spring steel Whisby COP went like a charm, a few problems on Kyka's end with his steel hardening firm playing silly buggers which blew out the delivery...

Re: Anvil of Virtue & other books now available at Amazon

Can they be read on a plain old PC? From Amazon's website, you can download a Kindle ereader program to run on your PC. You would need to look at their website to see what the system requirements are though. You can also run the Kindle app on a smartphone to read books that way also. The kindle app...

Review "The Anvil of Virtue" by Sir Vitus Von Atzinger

I don't care who you are, what kingdom you are in or what level of fighter you are. If you have even the tinniest interest in Chivalry and Curtsy within the SCA you will learn something from this book. It is clear, concise and very well written and every page is loaded with matters of Chivalry and C...

Re: New Kronos helmet 14g hot rolled mild steel.

The price may be a bit high. Part of the problem may be that you are posting this to a board full of people that are very focused on period armor. This looks to be more of an SCA sport helmet than one based one a specific historical type. My suggestion would be to find a period helm and copy it as ...

Re: Under 14th cent leg armor

Directly attached padding is an interesting idea and would not be that hard if you attached a leather strip to the rear of the armour for the purposes of stitching.... Retro-fitting the strip will be annoying in the extreme though. In something like cased greaves would a layer of felt simply be glue...

I'd welcome feedback from any and all merchants i've dealt with as it can only strengthen my reputation here on the archive.

What about a modified version of the 5x5 scale but directed at the buyer rather than the seller? or something similar to the e-bay style of feedback?

I don't know how it works in the US but i'd go for a letter from a lawyer or an application at a small claims court.
