What is the transverse base of the head made of in the trident? How heavy do the off-axis thrusting tips hit? It's all one piece of kayak foam, with the exception of the actual tips, which are 'blue' foam. They don't hit as hard as the center tip, so a body shot with just an outer tip usually won't...

It'd likely be more effective (and more fun) if used as a mace. After all, it's basically a big chunk o' metal on a long stick.

Because IS a legal weapon. :D It's a 9 ft trident. Think of it as a 9 ft rattan spear with a extra wide head.
