Just checking to see if anyone out there has an extra fencing blade or fencing dagger blade laying around. I have some sword parts laying around and would like to make an extra dagger and sword so my wife and i can do some sparring from time to time. I just wanted to check here before i purchase any...

OK...bazubands, full gaunts, and one pair of half gaunts sold. I have a rather mis matched pair of unstrapped half gaunts left. one is a bit larger than the other...i will entertain offers on this set. They are thorvaldr gaunts as well.

almost forgot, the measurements on the Bazubands are 9.5" from wrist to where the elbow sits, and roughly 9.5-10" around the wrist.

Not really. At this point I haven't really ought with it all that much. It is just kinda sanwitched between the tape on the blade and the leather on the handle.

well, even if you didnt' want to make it look like oculars, you could cut the chain, and use a leather band to go around the nasal on the helm. that would still give basically the same look. not a great pic but a little like that i guess. i would suggest thinner leather than what this fellow used th...
