Well, it cut fairly deep (actually nicked bone). The REAL trouble was when the stitches holding everything together fell out the day after surgery, and the surgeon was gone on vacation. Shoddy workmanship on his part. And of course since he was the "star surgeon" in the area, nobody else w...

ok wow so you want to basically completely incase your hand except the ring and pinky fingers in steel and those would be articulated and as enclosed as possible. May i ask what this is for so i can get more of an idea how strong and overly built i would need to make it. Ok, long story short (leavi...

EDIT: Didn't read well enough. Derp derp. Have you thought about a form of locking mitten gauntlet? If I recall correctly, there is a fighter who now fights with a period-correct, combat legal prostheses based on the iron hand of Gotz Von Berlichingen. Ooooh! With the modification for my thumb and ...

Did you want just the top of the fingers and not on the inside. What type of wrist(if any) and what type of metal and what type of finish. Th...

Close, but a bit more like this: The thumb/index/middle fingers need to fit into one fully-braced and immobile opening, while the ring and pinky fingers would be jointed for movement. Style doesn't really matter to be honest, as long as it's made of a good solid ...

Newbie looking for a custom piece...

Hi all. New poster here, looking for a very specific piece of custom armor, and desperately hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Basically, what I need is a custom gauntlet (right hand only), sort of a cross between a mitten and finger gauntlet (I hope I've gotten the terminology righ...
