Dude...didn't you just sell a klap visor as well? You are getting rid of all your stuff. Good stuuf, too, from what I can see. What's going on? Does someone need a kidney?
Don't you have any kids that you could sell into indentured servitude, and save your armor?

Yo!
What is your waist and chest size?
Since you find this breast and back to be a little large on you, what would you say are its measurements?
These are important bits of info for me.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2186732078&category=43337 Oh...my...god. I think the one on the left could actually be salvaged if you removed the whole hilt and cut the wings off where the ricasso is, leaving simply a leaf-shaped blade with a full tang. But the other one is a co...

I think the whole problem lies in judging comparative scolastic endeavors. That is to say that most SCAdians and Living History buffs are students of history and/or amateur scholars. So here people have a topic of interest that they have actually gone out and studied on their own...perhaps the only ...

I think my favorite armour myth comes, in fact, from a myth. In the original saga of Beowulf, Beowulf was always described as wearing "shining" armour and "bright" armour. Now the first written account of Beowulf was in the eighth century, and the first oral account was known of in the fifth century...

Howdy! I am looking for a person who can pound me out some steel or iron strap hinges for a chest I am making. The specifications? They should be at least an inch wide, an 1/8 of an inch thick, and about 14" long, (7 inches to a side). It doesn't matter if the opposite ends are offset or aligned wit...

I would be interested in some of the plaques.
Is this a limited-time deal?
Are there going to be more of these for sale in the future?

I would like about twenty of the 2 inch and thirty of the 1 inch plaques, but not until about the end of July.

A place called Medieval Replicas (not to be confused with Museum Replicas) used to have several styles as well. Bodkins and square-head (like a bodkin, but shorter and beefier) points for sale at 6$ per head.
I do not know if they are still around or under what name.

My first suit of armor was a suit of late 15th century German full plate with close helm, full pauldrons, finger gauntlets, and fully enclosed arms and legs. Persoanlly I like the shiny black finish, and would not paint them. They look a lot like laquered or black powder-coated metal. If you paint them, they'll immediately look like what they are...plastic.

I think I have deduced this helm's angiogenesis...it's origin, if you will...
It is based on the Lego-Land castle-knight's helm. Simply add a big plastic molded feather plume on the top and you have got it down cold!
