Archangel, I work a lot with 1/8" ABS plastic. I use a standard kitchen oven I have in my shop to heat the plastic. I heat it at 220 degrees for about 6 to 8 minutes. When it starts to bend around the edges it is almost ready. Be very careful with it though. If it gets bubbles or scars from the heat...

If you are not in our area, look in your local phone book under plastic suppliers. Be warned though that it is not cheap. A 4 X 8 foot s...

Also, we have found that if you run stitching in a vertical pattern on the cloth it will make it stronger. And one last thing. I use a a dremm...

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'll try the chain and or magnet and see how they work. In the mean time, I'll get some ear plugs out of the gun closet. Thanks again. I knew you all would have the answer to this one!

Ringing Anvil

Hello. I have a question I know you all can help me with. In my shop I have a thick piece of flat metal that I use as one of my anvils. I use it because it works quite well when I am putting rivets in the curves of my armor. Every time I strike the rivet the metal rings with a tone that makes my tee...
