I've made a buckler, in Al T6-6061 if I remember well, 16 ga, about 4" deep, inside rolled edges on a 14 ga ss wire, 16" diameter with a copper cross on it (something thin like 20 Ga) and acccording to the owner it is holding well to SCA combat. If you are wondering for more than 2 seconds if you can cut something with the utility knife that you have handy or should get the scisors sp?, go get the scisors. Quentin There is something I am not getting here. You ask 1000$ and then drop the price to 175$, pretty big difference. I agree, grab it. I would have to think twice if I had to choose between my beverly's or my makita shear. But of course I dont work with much thicker than 14 Ga.
