I also feel that the younger armourers should all go by it before getting started and watch out for the people. For I and alot of you have seen this ha...

Willing Pell Do you remember what resist you used on the stainless? I use a rubermaid pan (with lid) and set it out in the sunlight so the sun keep the Ferric chloride warm and it still takes hours to get a good etch. I would slosh about every 1/2 hour to rotate the Ferric chloride and make sure my ...

LOL the old super shene story. I have done leather for a long time and I quit useing the super shene for a couple reason. 1. when it gets hot it gets sticky and can stick leather together. 2. cracks. I use wax on the back ( I melt it in with a heat gun or blow dryer ) and Kiwi polish on the front (a...

I have been doing both for 14 pluss years and the only way most people can tell is if their is some rust or they would look at the back for the paint that I always do to reg. steel. What I use is the quick finish emery buff of 120 grit. I let dry and take out the harder scratches and then go over ag...

Well! Ugo, You have been taking so much time to get out here, and some 6ft 4in farm boy has nabed her up, at this time. You will just have to come and show her who is worthy of her favor. I like your progress and it looks good. I wonder if it will work with stainless steel. I'm still using acid, and I would love a less corosive way. I gues I will have to try this method. As for the design of the gauntlets give me a call and I should be able to help you out with the articulation. If y...

You will find most have a 23 1/2 to 24 inch head to be tha average, the seconed groop will be the 23 to 23 1/2 inch groop. But I'm starting to get old (15 to 20 years older that alot here) I ...
