Of course I stopped, what they where selling where the copies but showing mine in there catalog. I am so glad I di...

The speed you move the steel also will make a factor in your finish product. Think of it as a rolling hammer if you go fast enough you can remove the vally effect, but if you go to slow you will have smooth lows and high spots. This become more true when you work with stainless.

Lord Ogier

I belive I have the oldest english weel in the known world. It was the one Master James built.

You must learn how to obey the hammer before you can comand it.

Use it wrong and it will mess something up, or it will be messed up.

Tomas It sounds like your hammer was to flat. The hammer shape is one way to controle your shape of your product. If you have to curve a different way from the way you are going use the horn of the anvil or fix up a round bar and make a T stake out of it for your other direction as well as use a cro...

chest plates are best planished from the inside uning a slightly rounded face hammer to a smooth/polished anvil. This will save you some time but flutes are best worked on the outside for finishing.

Check with The Apprentice Armoury, in about a week and a half. My students will have some newer items at good prices. Nothing over $200.00 at this time.

Any thing over $200.00 I make.
