Egyptian Armor

What kind of armor did ancient Egyptians wear? I found a site that said they didn't wear any, only the pharoah wore a little. Does anybody know anything about this? thanks

Would like to make plate armor or whatever you call it

I would like to make plate mail, just for fun, I wouldn't be fighting in it or anything. How do you start? What tools do you need? Where do you get the stuff? Is it hard? etc. Thanks

chainmail question

How did peeps a long time ago make chainmail? I make it with wire and the crank thing, but for it to be strong enough to fight in it would have to be to thick to bend with your bare hands. How did they do it? Also, did they make their own wire?

Just keep trying. You get a feel for it after a while. Find a picture online of chainmail, sit down with your rings and try to make it look exactly like it. Good luck! I'm sure you can do it. Tali P.S Unless you reallly like sewing, I wouldn't sugest it. I tried something like that once and it was h...

I read somwhere that using aluminum wire for chainmail is bad cause if left to sit they will spring apart. Is this true?
