Alcyoneus said, "I'm pretty sure the other one is from Antir, he was talking with a friend of his that was from Canada (his speech had a lot of eh's, eh?)."

Perhaps he was from An Tir....they do have a princepality, Avacal, so perhaps the Viscount Sir Gunther I saw was he.

Alcyoneus: You ask about Sir Gunthar. I'm sure there were others, but I can speak of two that I know of. Viscount Sir Gunthar is, I believe, from the Outlands. I saw him only once VERY briefly and can't describe his arms or colors. I could be wrong about that, but I do know for a fact that there is ...

JP! I didn't know you were a sexy boxer brief kinda guy! Image

I acutally use tiny cotton bikini briefs to fight in, because my cup moves around in my boxer briefs. The cup, I've noticed, does far less good after if falls down your pant leg.

I found many of those things myself, Samuel. Glad to have met you and shook your hand, Sir, and I hope we get a chance to cross weapons at some future event. My knight is going to Grand Outlandish. Not sure yet if I'll be there for that one.

I'd pay for a nice buckler. I woulnd't persnoally pay for a munitions grade buckler, but if you did nice custom work, I'd pay accordinly. Hard to say how much I'd pay specifically, as we all know different options cost different money. But I'd pay over $100 if it was nice work. Probably woulnd't pay...

Yes, saw lots and lots of pretty armour. Put tape on some of it even. Had a great time in general. Met the FIRST guy who has Sinric's close helm made by Sinric. GAA Armoury Review

http://members.spree.com/armour/gaa/default.htm I just got my second piece of armour from Master Geoffrey. I got his gorget for heavy combat this time around. The first thing I got from him were gauntlets. This armour is terrific. It's simple in design and form, solid, fits nicely, seems like it'll...

I think the issue of expense with a close or a burgonet or an armet for example is time required in their fitting construction phase. All the complex curves make them mui difficult to make...so with a kit, MOST of the hard work is done. A kit with a barrel great helm, for example, would be easier to...
