WTB 15th century shoes

I'm after a really well made pair of leather shoes. Properly made, possibly with a tiny bit of stamping or piercework. Not horrendously bothered about price but i do have a limit.

Turn around needs to be less than a month.

Any help is great, thanks.

Nearly, but more like this. Trust me, try it and see how strong it is. Once you have covered it in the cloth/leather it is amazingly strong. Plus, what is more straightforward, overlapping 3 boards and pegging or cutting 10 teeth to match perfectly with another ten and then repeat on the other side ...

Okie dokie, mind if i step in and add my 2 cents? Though i have no direct evidence, the markings on the coverings and backs of some of these taller pavises indicates such; 1: The beak was a seperate piece, carved and glued on to fit over a hole. 2: The body of the shield is made of 3 planks sat on t...

Plenty of people just run a leather thong through the top row of rings and tie it in the front. Seems to hold up pretty well. YMMV

Very cool Bertus!!

Is there any particular reason you chose tabs over rivets for affixing the parts?

Was it a hygiene thing for cleaning?
