Hey thanks for reply I have made several sets of mitten gauntlets in the past. But getting a kit sounds like a good idea would the kits you refer to be the laser cut stainless one's I have read about on the archive forum?

Has anybody out there made the gauntlets from the archive patterns (by unknown)? If so did it work well I need to throw a set together and making gauntlets patterns gives me a head ach. Got my B-2 from ups yesterday resurfaced the blades and redid the handle. All of the bascinets and sugar loaf great helms in 12g will be a piece of cake now. Torch cutting helm tops is no fun also very slow and inefficient!

I would not use the tabs to much work just cut the top plate oversized and turn the eage down over a stake and trim to make it even.
