its stainless stell 1.5 milimiters thick so folding or roling the edges in any form with just my one hammer is impossible, I was thinking in the direction of cotting the ends with somthing. well i did fought in it but only a little beat, not enough to see if it will bite me, i will check into it thou.

I didnt had the tools to roll the edges so i just coted them with straps of led but now i think ill no other way but to duct tape the edjes, anyone can suggest something better?

thanks for all the advise compliments but the problem is that i dont even have a back yard (i work on my balcony) and i live in israel which means that sending anything to here from the US will cost a considerable sum of money. ill check into those spaulders but can you direct me the specific ones y...

thank god i found a way 2 cut it

im rathe new here and i posted a question about a month ago asking how to cut stainless steel, well i found a guy with a plasma cutter and now finally the breastplate, back plate and spaulders are ready. i must say that becasue its used in larp and not SCA its not very authentic. http://planet.nana....

aluminum is a soft metirial and can be cold shaped very easily. the edges dont really need to be folded with aluminum because its not sharp at all.

i hard of a guy a year before i started playing that someone tried to slash his throat and accidentlly poped the guys eye out by thrusting the knife into it. so on the bottom line accidents in buffer\latex swords fight do happen and an armor wont prevent anything serious but it can do only good. one...

aluminum (if your working with it) is ideal for larp gaming because its so safe in comparasent to steel or stainles steel.

and about getting injured, I got stabed ones directlly into the ey bye a latex sword which proved highlly painfull.

the problem is its really hard to get cutting oil for me, will it be ok to do it with out the oil and I herd that when a jigsaw blade breaks it flys forward like a bullet, is that true?

How do i cut the dam thing

I have recentlly bought stainless steel plaets for a new armor and im highlly puzzled for the manner of cutting them. up to today i only worked with aluminum plates (1.5 mm) and cutted them easelly with a jigsaw but now i dont know what to do?

the stainlless steel plates are 1.2 mm thick
