I have the shirt and after almost 2 years of a lot of use, I have a few worn spots in the arm pits and some of the padding is detaching from the shirt. Still great stuff... Word of advice, hand wash it and hang it to dry, the dryer seems to wear out the glue or attachement of the padding to the shir...

I wholeheartedly agree with that. To me, I only look right or my true self when I am wearing armor so I like it when I get pics in armor. Go figure...

Vitus, I am the same way as well. For some odd reason I dont like getting pictures taken of me as well... I do it when it is necessary, or I have no choice.

That looks great and an armor that is not done nearly as much as it should be. The only issue I have is the butted maille, but it seems you are on the right track in replacing it to riveted.

Titainium can be very tough, but also very brittle. Sometimes it is a good thing that the metal on a helm either has some give or flexibility to it.
