I've used various helmets through the years and I gotta say, for melees a kettle rocks. The visibility and air flow just can't be beat for me. I love it.

Just FYI, if you are going to plan on using this bow for Combat Archery it will have to be a maximum 30lbs at 28inches of draw. If that doesn't make sense, let me know.

Guess I missed this the first time around. I like it, looks very functional and quite good lines on it. I was trying to remember where I had seen a statue with a back quiver, it was of Artemitis (sp) I believe, the goddess of the hunt. I'll see if I can dig it up. Once again, very nice.

Here's one of my kits, I like the ailettes and they do provide some protection. They are water hardened leather and then painted.
