We used siloflex with tennis balls taped to the end, and found out if you grabbed them by the (non-tennis ball) end and just chunked them they'd go up in the air and then come down pretty dramatically. They weren't that hard to aim, but (on the recieving end) difficult to predict in order to block. ...

It was a slavic short pole arm/axe. Similar to a glaive, but attached at two points on the pole. I started doing more research into it when justus said to me at a demo a few years back "Vlad you're so slavic and don't know what a bardiche is?" Has anyone used the mandrake axe heads on a polearm eith...

Making a Bardiche
Hi,
I've been fighting glaive for a little bit, and I'd like to make something a little more persona friendly. I've seen Sir Justus figiting with a bardiche and wondered if anyone out there had any opinions on how to construct one.
Thanks

I moved to Meridies from Atlantia, and being warned about the calibration differences I asked people to talk to me about their feelings on how I fought before and after the fight. So far I haven't had any addressed problems. I personally do like it when calibration levels are a bit higher, just beca...

Where o where can I get spear shafts in NC?
I'm looking to find a spot in North Carolina that might sell the
materials needed for spear shafts. I have some fencers who I've talked
into fighting spear, but I only have one spear......

gauntlets
I'm about to start work on putting together some basic full gauntlets. I've made some armor(helm, articulating elbows/knees/demi gauntlets) but I've never made gauntlets before. The project is to get some put together for our spear fighters in the barony and I was wondering if anyone had any tried p...
