well i was thinking about making ether an italion sword(does not have to be roman)or trying my hand at making a sword for my father who when to the cididel.doesnt need to funtion its jusr for show.

what kind of metal is best for a sword?i will not be useing it for conbat so no worrys.all i have to heat the metal is a plumers heating torch.it would be prefered that the metal come from a junk yard.thanks for all the help and advice.

what i'm gona do is make them like i would anyway and not actach the mitten part or just use some leather to actach the mitten part its just for me and i'm not gona use them for renactment so it dosent matter.they still look cool to me
