Re: Cutting industrial anti-cut bracer

Wendall, you're totally correct. I think when I made the subtitles on the video, I was a bit too excited! I agree that the armor actually protected the target very well. We later tested again with my student doing the cut, as a compare. He couldn't even scratch the armor. We were unable to locate wh...

Cutting industrial anti-cut bracer

http://youtu.be/ErO9KBr976o
Test cutting industrial anti-cut bracer.

I've always compared cutting pork arm to cutting light armor. This video showed that the sword we had previously tested on pork arms without damaging the edge or bending, survived perfectly through the ordeal of cutting the armor.

Re: Sword Test day 3

1. We also do practice cutting with smaller, faster cuts in other cases. However, since this event is for testing the sword, thus we were doing the "maximum" (both I and the sword). There are some videos where I was doing the cuts I do. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFtKCX6M6oE These a...

Thanks for your information and tips. I'll tell him about that advice. He's aware of that video. It's his first time doing weaponry sparring with such weapon so he'll improve along time. I enjoy the video where the instructors in the above link were engaged in a fast, steel saber combat demonstration!
