I think I did something similar - the wrists were large, and the forearm tight. I had to put the forearm section onto a ball stake and 'raise'it, drawing metal down to the edges of the piece to widen it overall. ------------------ "Or, a pall inverted surmounted by an orle Azure counterchanged" mka:...

You might consider making it from high-density neoprene, which is normally used for shoe soles and heels. A leather- and shoe-making supply house can provide the stuff. If it's pure linseed oil, it's just a natural oil and shouldn't have any ill effect on leather. "Boiled linseed oil" contains drying agents and other hazardous chemicals, so for that compound, all bets are off. Plans/Ideas for an Armor Stand?

I'm messing around with some ideas for an armor stand to both display my harness while I'm at home and keep it off the floor of the pavillion while I'm camping. If anyone out there has made one of these, could you please post pictures, etc, if the item in question? Thanks, ------------------ "Or, a ...

I cannot say enough, "A clothesline in your camp (assuming sun) is a very good thing." Your camp-mates will use it too. Now...

There isn't any appreciable vertical 'shrink'.

Good luck.
