You got it! Pictures will be posted as soon as I can get them scanned in after the wedding. (After I get back from our mini-honeymoon of course! We're going to Catalina for three days. In two years, we are going on the real honeymoon, touring castles and ancestral lands in Europe!)

To answer several questions in one post; The main tail lame articulates perfectly up and down with no resistance at all. The secondary lame moves about an inch or so before it impacts the helmet. I can tilt my head back as far with the helm on as without. The question about the eye slot; Adria allow...

Amazing armourer

The pin-lock is just stiff enough to require my attention when I'm trying to lift the visor. The tail a...

OK, Eric the armorer isn't going to be able to attempt a sallet for me. He is booked up with a $15,000 order for the next six months or more.
Anyone else want to step up to the plate? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?...

Thanks for the responses guys, I have looked at each link and responded to the emails. Right now two armorers are considering doing the helmet for me. Hammered Wombat and Armorer Eric. Eric is only a few miles away from me and will let me know if he will do it in a day or so. I haven't heard back fr...

Need a sallet fairly quickly

Can anyone help me please? I need a lobster tailed sallet with a full bevor and visor (I like the sallets made by Illusions Armory, but they will take a year and aren't accepting rush orders.) I need the thing by the first of June for a wedding. Galon, if you read this can you recommend anyone? I do...

Galon knows about live steel combat. I'm sure he would be able to give you a great perspective on swords to use for steel fighting. Sometimes you can find old Gypsy blades at the smaller ren faires or at garage sales. I use a hand and a half starfire as my weapon of choice for live steel combat in A...
