sewing

When sewing the leather strips to the glove I prefer to sew as much of the strip as possible to the glove [tips and up both sides to where the fingers join] this prevents the gadlings and/or lames from shifting in use and exposing any finger bits. Some sellers have used glue and just sew the tip but...

and ... if you can adjust the drive belt on the drill press you can leave it a "bit" loose and go slow , LOTS of coolant or use an "air duster" aerosol can upside down as this will cool the tool. I always put wood under the piece being cut . Clamp it down! be safe and have fun ju...
