Have you spoken to anyone in a USA embassy? Maybe if you approached a corporation that has offices in UK but is an American company they might be amenable to relocating you. Hard to say really. Green cards are rough but not impossible. If terrorists can get them why cant you?

You may be right. I know it was under 30 though.

I've also heard about how Calontir has been coming less to pennsic which is kind of a shame. They can be some nice folks.

I guess you werent in that group last pennsic either. The ones it took about 18 seconds to kill. And sorry, I'm still not recalling an...

hmmm. These were stories you heard from people that were at these 'clubbings'? Or they were longer than 23 years ago? These 'clubbings' just arent ringing any bells... :?

Some people say 'it shouldnt...

No one said anything about 'becoming a Tuchuk'. Sometimes we invite people to come to our events because we think they'd have a good time and enjoy themselves. We dont have SCA guests at every event but it's not that rare a thing. Usually they have a blast. Just sayin.

I think that force escalates because of a number of factors. Better armor is one of them, but I think a lot of it has to do with the seperation of echelons among fighters. The big boys hit hard and hit often. If you cant or wont you arent generally a big boy. This is my observation anyway.

I've seen some real nice plastic armor before. The Japanese stuff is fine because they laquered their stuff anyway so it coulda been made of anything and still looked good. Depending on the cost there could be a Tuchux market for the 9 hole plates that I posted a picture of. If you could make a plate like the one I posted out of stainless and ...
