Gee trev, funny how time changes things. Were you with that group from calontir that came up to our camp a few years back? The ones it took about 18 seconds to kill? I guess you werent in that group last pennsic either. The ones it took about 18 seconds to kill. And sorry, I'm still not recalling an...

Dog lemme just say I feel your pain. I spent 6 weeks in a cast to my knee only to get right into a DH Walker diabetic offloading boot. This is while I'm waiting for special shoes, inserts and a spring loaded t strap ankle brace. 8 to 12 weeks. It's been 7 weeks since I fought and if they think I'm w...

Screw that. I dont die to light shots or slop and I dont expect you to either. If someone tries to call some light thing I've thrown as good I compliment them on their honor but I tell them the shot was no good. It doesnt make me a better fighter or them for that matter. Some people say 'it shouldnt...

Bedlam I think he'd have a blast! Vitus I hope you figure this out dog. Seriously. For all the differences between us I still think the strongest thing we have in common is a love for this stuff. Details aside. I sincerely hope you find that again. For your sake and for those that would suffer your ...

I get full body massages with oil on a regular basis. Over the years Ratty has come to understand the way my body reacts to not only the rattan fighting but the residual paralysis I deal with from having had back surgery. She is the main reason I am able to move around and function. She's the best n...

Kevin you fucking rock! Based on your description me and the boys have a design on paper for a round sheild press. Thank you for sharing that knowledge. If we get this thing up and running we wont have to buy those aluminum shields and we'll be able to make them the right diameter! Dog if you're at ...

Adam the origin of that plate is on the essay T Bob did on lamellar. I looked for it just now to quote from it but I cant find it. He documented it along with two others similar. One with 7 holes and another with 11. I used the 7 hole plate for the torso of my aluminum body armor and used the pictur...

Adam I was directing that towards Jamie. I knew you werent interested in making the plates I had posted, it's all good. To be honest I love the plates you sell. They look great. They just dont fit the armor that I like, that's all. If I ever get a shirt of rivetted chain mail and want a lamellar har...

I've seen some real nice plastic armor before. The Japanese stuff is fine because they laquered their stuff anyway so it coulda been made of anything and still looked good. I dont have a problem with the noble plastics lamellar either. Same thing. The only ONLY downside to that stuff is that it's ma...

Depending on the cost there could be a Tuchux market for the 9 hole plates that I posted a picture of. Right now we're using the noble plastics for a lot of our lamellar needs and really the only objection is that they're plastic. If you could make a plate like the one I posted out of stainless and ...

We were at a cave event in Woodward PA doing a warlord tourney when I got blasted from behind with a two handed axe. It knocked me out on my feet and chipped a vertebra in my neck. The funny thing is the guy that did it was a friend of mine. Grettir from Clovenshield, the fucker I wasnt pissed thoug...

Hey, I dont mean to intrude into your life or anything, but get your back fixed first. Rehab it right. Get healthy before you do this. I had L4/L5 and L5/S1 removed and I didnt wait long enough before I came back and had some serious setbacks because of it. My friend here Kaylock just had surgery ri...
