This is something I've been interested in as well. Trouble is, the majority of Mediaeval Beer was not hopped so it doesn't keep as well as modern beer so breweries would be less willing to produce it. I would love if this idea was implemented up here. Tournament training would help a great deal with individual prowess and help hone skills that sometimes go unaided.
