so, i've compiled a list of all shield construction requirements from almost all kingdoms. Atenvelt, Northshield, and Outlands did not list explicitly what their shield requirements were, so i can only assume that they go by society rules, which have already been listed here. Society Rules 1. Shield...

best gorget for supporting an arm harness and spaulders

I'm hoping to find something to spread out the weight evenly while fufilling the obvious job of protecting the neck area. i'm aiming for a mid 15th century persona, but am mostly just looking for something that wor...

i think it's entirely possible for two people to come up with a very similar pattern here. i mean, it's a dog collar with some extra collarbone protection. seems like it'd be a standard item anywhere. just a step up from a dog collar, but not quite one of those really fancy gorgets. hell, i might ha...

That has got to be a misprint for the rivets & washers. I can't imagine them actually being that price. Who would buy them? I could make these things for far less... then do so, and we'll buy them maybe if i win the lottery... or finally patent that device everyone needs, but didn't know they needed.

the compound curves of a calf are hard. one side has a kind of "bump" near the top, the other side is a longer, smoother curve. it's not just a simple bend. try looking at an anatomy book. i can't find the thread at the moment, but there was someone who posted a link to his progress/tutorial shots a...

it might look plastic because of how dusty it is. did anyone else notice the finger prints on the metal? it looks like real metal underthe dust at least.

we could always ask how much it weighs.

the problem is, it just doesn't look quite right
