you mean and actually make the schtick of the reason the east and mid come in because they heard of an invading army actually be true? Forfend a touch of cool play. That would then make the idea of the Mid and East working together against everyone else actually work.

I love it when "Newbies" have kits better than others that have been fighting for years. Not just shiny new but all around better display. Great job Drogo.

Wow I didn't realize that Poiters date was so difficult to pin it down. I assumed with the Black Prince being there we would have had more certain info. But I am guessing COP will be the way for me to go. What about a Corrazina?

William, that would be great. I kind of know what soft kit I could go with, I am really interested in seeing the armour at this date. I was under the impression that the COP was what was going on at this point and then trying to figure out how a Jupon fits over, just in general the whole cohesive lo...

Strongbow,

So the body would be a breastplate not a coat of plates? What type, the globose or the cherburg?

I am having difficulty envisioning how the haubergon works with the arm defenses or would there be no spaulders yet?

1356 Battle of Poiters

If I wanted to do an SCA impression of an English Knight from this time and place from the skin out, what would I need?

I would be really out of my depth here.......

If your intent is to have the blue background with the black diamond on it then it doesn't meet heraldic submissions because you can't have a color on a color. If you change it to blue with silver (white) diamond with black sword it would be a legal submission. However if your intent is just the bla...

SCA gorget I have a problem and need some advice on a fix. First off a gorget is not period for me so something that is an SCAism or unobtrusive is the goal. Problem: I have an 18.5 inch neck at rest, after half an hour or less of fighting it flexes out at least 1 to 1.5 inches more. So to pass insp...

Anyone know numbers for Lochac?

Uncertain at this time with travel expenses climbing, however 6-12 seems to be about average for us. It depends upon how many Drachenwald expatriates join our forces on the ground there.
