I suppose there's no way t lower the speed from 3600 to something lower by starving it of power?
I've been using sandpaper backed by buffing wheels, but the longevity and flexibility due to the arbor and edges catching is killing my productivity.

Max RPM of Expander Wheel
Hey all, I'm trying to get some info on the eastwood company's expander wheel. Specifically, I have a 1/2 or 3/4 hp Ryobi 8" bench grinder that runs at 3600 RPMs at max, but it runs down very quickly with pressure. The expander wheel is rated at 2400 rpms.
