I've read this tutorial and it seems not easy at all. But is it really necessary to roll the edges ? If you see the first gauntlet I've posted above, the edges are not rolled as well.

Hey Chris and the others,

This is the first thing I've made, the part that comes over the underarm (cuff or something like that ?)
I encounter the first problem : the edge is rough and sharp. I've read something about rolling the edges , but I think that this cannot be done, or am I wrong ?
