they cost 150.00, shipping and everything..i got them in about 5 weeks. as for manuverability i think thats a matter of preference.

Got my gauntlets

Today the UPS man delivered my clamshell gauntlets from Armourereric of James River Armoury. These things are nice..the articulation is smooth, they look good and feel good. Came fully gloved and strapped. I highly reccomend anyone looking for good armour to talk with Eric. Many thanks Eric!!

Eric is a really cool guy. I ordered a pair of his gauntlets around the end of february and they should be here this weekend i think. Whenever i sent and email about my order he always replied within hours. Ive heard he does nice stuff and from pictures ive seen i dont doubt it. Eric is the bomb.

knipex makes great pairs of mini bolt cutters, they retail for 48.00 but i got mine for 20 on ebay..theyve been with my through 3 hauberks and 4 coifs and they still have that nice snap cut, i think the ringlord sells them on his site also

I actually heard something about magnets being used to treat pain..like a braclet with magnets. Im not too sure, but ive heard from other people that it works, it has something to do with electrical balances in the body and crap like that..i might try it when i actually start my rivited maille.

need clamshell gauntlets FAST!!

ok here's the deal i have 175 bucks and i need a pair of maybe medium sized clamshell gaunts w/strapping..i will pay a good price, i need these things before april 28 and i would preferrably like them new...anything would help, thanks alot guys!!

aww bitchin..i hope this price is true, i went to illusion armory and found some mitten gauntlets w/strapping for only 130.00 bucks.i think i may have found what im looking for...

Ok well then here's the real question since they don't sound too great...i have 175 bucks, where can i get a good pair of clamshell or milanese gauntlets with the longer cuff? Also i have to have them before april 28..thanks alot guys!
