... also uses heavier padding than the stock I use. you can feel the blow but usually do not bruise. no padding and you will feel the "pain" my first titanium breast plate had no padding and I had bruises all over after duke davin got done with me.

hmm I dont consider .99 apiece to be too expensive. a suit like that done by hand would run at least $500 or so if you could find someone to make it. ti cuts easily with a bev shear. it can also be snapped off the sprue and dry ground. beware the fumes if it is an alloy. go here for info on working ...

hi everyone cant say much as vitus has already said most of it. I personally reccommend baldar cup hilts. ya I make titanium ones but dont really like to... much. 22 big stainless rivets are a pain in the butt to pound. depending on how things go... I have to punch set the rivet ...

hi

I have had very good luck with painting over regular contact cement painted on titanium.

the paint on my shield has been great. no chips or flakes.

do an experiment. its important to make sure it dries in the hot sun and cools before you put paint on it.

is this a weight or bulk issue?

weight: use plastic, titanium or better yet wear mins.... hehe

bulk: legs fitinside the body armour arms inside the legs. small pieces fit where possible with helm over the ends of the legs. will get very compact if designed right.

titanium is the closest thing we have to mythral.

the ringlord sells Ti rings. I would try him. might cost you a bit but they are worth it.

my 24ga Ti plate body harness weighs less than 5lbs.
