I have several pieces of armour that are unpolished and I'm looking for advice on the right tool to purchase to make them shine.

What is the best way to polish stainless, brass and aluminum?

I had once heard mention of "resin" but am not sure what that ment.

I'm considering buying a bench grinder that I can dual-hat by removing the grinding wheel and adding a polishing wheel. Good or bad idea?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I started out using a bench grinder with buffing wheels on it. Worked fairly well excpet when trying to buff larger pieces. They would hit the motor housing.
I use greaseless buffing compound. I get mine from Grizzly. Different colors for different metals and finishes. You need seperate wheels for each color.

I like the Harbor Freight 8" long shaft baffer/grinder. 3/4 HP usually retails for $89.99 frequently on sale for $69.99, even though it's harbor freight, I tend to kill one about every $40K in armour product, not a bad yeild.
