My munitions finish is achieved with a soft 320 bench mounted motor flap wheel 2" by 6" is my favorite.
A little pricey... but worth it.
I think I have showed you the Mc Master part numbers before.
I do not cloth buff, I go right to the scrubby pads and oil.
This gives me the opportunity to blend everything together.
Be aware of your scrubby pad strokes.
This reflects the light in a controlled manner.
