I have a couple buckler/round shields around. I also have some heaters and misc. ones from ages ago.

A buckler I made recently with a press and welded on that turned roundstock handle.

Roundshield I made with a CNC plasma cutter. I tacked on the fleur de lys. The back part I wasn't sure so much about, I laced it up quick with some string for concept, but for final lacing, I may need ideas.

All stainless steel. I used a stylized representation of the "Flame of Tar Valon" and the "Dragon's Fang" in a yin yang pattern inspired by the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. The back has nothing yet, need more thought on how to mount it.

I have 2 of these, they're made from old harrow blades. No good for combat, but premade dish shape for costume.

I know I don't post here much, but someone said you guys may appreciate these or have some future input for me. Sorry for all the pictures.

everything looks good, except the flour de lies is off center.

Try "plug welding" the fleur de lys, that way you wont see the welds.
(Plug welding is done by drilling holes behind the piece you want to attach and filling the holes with weld.)

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I actually didn't even know I was going to put that on there until it was 5 minutes until closing time for the shop, so I butchered it. I could have gotten away with one or two, but I didn't want to have to reweld it. Maybe I'll weld it all around to make it look nicer one day. :)

I agree a back side plug weld.
But so far so good.
Kudos, keep up the metal work.
Thanks for the pics.
