Does anyone recognize these?

Post by Hersir1 »

Greetings,

I have a pair of gauntlets that I could use some help identifying.
These were purchased for me at Gulf War in '06, and the person who bought them did not remember who he bought them from. They were purchased from a merchant, an armorer, but he did not think to ask the alloy, or method of construction.

He told me they were hardened spring steel, but nothing else. I have no use for them any longer, and am trying to sell them. I would like to be able to identify the maker, as this is important to lots of folks.

If anyone recognizes them - the thumb seems distinctive to me, and the end lame - could you let me know?

Thanks in advance!

They were made by Master Peter (Max Engel) of Northstar Armoury (based down in Ansteorra). Master Peter uses 4130 almost exclusively for his hardened spring steel armour.
