Making an Anvil

here is how I make a usefull anvil from scrap
first, the main part is from a type of plough
next this is cut down as the back and middle are too long, it is then
welded back together and I add a stake holder ( to take my 20mm stakes ) to the back end
next I weld in legs made from 25mm square ( 1" ) steel about 20cm ( 8" ) long, these are welded top and bottom inside the central slot and then a section of fork lift time about 17 to 20cm ( 7" to 8" ) long is welded on top.
inside the slot the legs are welded to the top as well if I remember.
then finaly a base plate is welded on
and I then if time permits polish the horn a bit
length about 21" ( 52cm )
not heavy but quite usefull
