Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is a great recreation of a helm of the "English Varangians"... I love the attention to detail! Like the leather chin strap to give the appearance that it's holding the cap down! Very nice!

VERY nice! Attention to details makes SOOO much difference...
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. -Aristotle

Entirely too much vulgarity in my original comments.

Thank you Adam it really means allot coming from you. One of my goals in making armor as always been that my work is as good as yours and Knotwolfs work one day.

I have know doubt that the helm you are making D Sebastian is going to be just off the wall when it is done. He is a lucky person to get a piece of work from you. I look forward to see it when it is done.

Cheers

Man jackie, you really need to update your website.
not to knock any of the work you have on their already because there are some amazing helms there as it is. but because it lookst o me like youve just taken a step up lately with the amazing work you,ve been putting out. i know some of the more spectacular designs take more time and effort but man have they been worth it. at least to the outside ( and a little bit inside) observer.

man what are you talking about?
just because its not polished and shineydoes not mean its not beautiful.
i was wondering about how that fit the face and how far under the chin it came. with it hinging like that it makes so much more sense.
truly spectacular my friend. your designs just keep on getting more and more amazing.

Part of an armour's beauty isn't just the lines and the polish.... It's in the details and engineering too.

What's under that camaille is Genius..... though I think I'd want some breathing holes in that faceplate

What he said. We want to peek up the skirt man.

And it's epic. Nice engineering. Pretty isn't important, it works, and it's covered.

Awesome hat.
It looked better in my head....
