So I've agreed to run a lottery to help Jiri get back in the shop. We're thinking of doing a simple 50:50 style lottery, but then the question remains, what is the best way to conduct this over the internet? How should we work tickets and do the final draw in a way that people will know is fair? Maybe just record ticket numbers and use some kind of random number generator?
We will also need your help to promote the lottery. It would be best if we could set up some kind of web page somewhere with Jiri's story and some pictures, so we'd have something to link people to.
Any thoughts and ideas on this lottery would be helpful.
Also, this may be the wrong forum to post in, but this is all about building armour in the long run! O:

I agree w/ the sentiment of this, but I'm not at all sure about the legality of it.
As such, I'm going to lock this thread.
