Where do you recommend a place to buy good quality leather gloves for making gauntlets?

Where to buy quality gloves for gauntlets?
Re: Where to buy quality gloves for gauntlets?
If you want a quality to match the quality of your gauntlets, you'll have to make them or have them made to fit YOUR hand and not a generic hand of about your size.

This topic comes up from time to time. Here is a good thread discussing the merits of certain types of gloves.

Thanks for the thread links, they gave me what I was after. Ingelri had cued me in to this source for cheap deer skin and elk skin gloves:

http://deerskingloves.net/110T.asp#Work ... kin_Gloves
$20 range instead of $60 range.

Elk is tough...I would go with a pair of elk skin gloves.

I have ordered a pair of deer and elk skin gloves from deerskingloves.net. I like the deer skin gloves as they come with an integral gauntlet cuff.
