Very cool! I defiantly like a sculpted face as opposed to just a plain bar grate. Two small bits of critism, 1) cut the mouth after the face is firmed 2) try and make a more pronounced chin. Other than that I think you nailed it! I really like the different finish on the ocular. Really makes it pop!

thank you for the insights. I am still perfecting my face making. I will try to pronounce the chin and cheeks more as I do them. also the mouth is probably the hardest for me. my first one I cut out after I had it shaped, the second I believe I did the same. this one I bent the plate to fit in the space and then cold chiseled the basic shape. I line the approximate "beard" area, then either raise or flute them and then give it a bit more definition as I go. I don't do any of it hot. however from my first to this one ive gotten faster and better at the face making. this Is the 5th helm ive constructed so I hope to continue to improve.
