Okay folks -- here it goes, allow me to rip the Artist Formerly Known As PoD to shreads ...
Just kidding.
Clay recently completed for me an aluminum chain maille bishops mantle and I will state for the record that it is perfect!
Me being the assinine indevegetable that I am, I forgot to take into account the measurements while wearing the mantle OVER my gorget but he created it with enough room to where that can be adjusted easily.
I believe, if memory serves it is 14g shiny aluminum with a 3/8 inner diameter. Correct me if I'm wrong, Clay. Light and comfortable as all get out.
Also, he managed to do this all in a week, which speaks volumes for his expediency.
Needless to say, Post-PoD shall has won my chain maille needs in the future.
Thanks a ton, Clay.

Yes, it is 14ga 3/8" aluminum. I think the whole thing only weighs a bit more than a pound too. I had to get up early one weekday morning and drive 30 minutes to get the wire when the place first opened because I wanted to make sure he got his mantle for his event on the 31st. I was a few minutes late to work, but I could probably not show up for a week and they wouldn't bat an eye.
