A long time Member PM'ed me some air power hammer questions.
I thought I would share our thoughts.
I can not provide turn key pneumatic parts and supplies for your build air hammer.
Every design is unique. Sort of like sabatons.

PS: If I had to do it over again... I would of placed the electronic controller on the foot switch.Halberds wrote:I wish you the best.
Be careful not to order too much stuff.
I have a box full of stuff left over from my VRAH build.
These tubes are 3/8" and sized for a 1.5" by 6" stroke cylinder.
The 5 port double acting air valve is 1/4" NPT.
It takes a massive amount of air delivered to operate a larger cylinder. One must consider the speed and how much air they can push through the hose and valve.
VRAH was designed to use a 5 horse power compressor to supply a 1.5" piston.
I machined the anvil and dies to match the cylinders threaded rod and base support pedestal.
The air valve is 12 volt actuated via the electronic controller.
Be sure to use an air regulator filter and oilier.
Check witch oils are compatible with your cylinder piston seals and your valve seals. I used mineral oil in my automatic oilier.
