Where to get fine chain

Post by bmichels86 »

Hello,

I'm searching for rolls or sheets of fine chainmail, similar to what is used to make modern chain butcher gloves. I figured this might be a good place to ask. Does anyone have a source?

Mailletec.com should work.

They are out of Canada and make shark suits as well as decorative items.

Ringmesh.com: http://www.ringmesh.com/category_s/54.htm and sundry other pages their site. http://www.ringmesh.com/ChainMail_Shirts_s/37.htm

I searched via AZON Corporation, whose name often figures in the background of these various sellers. Ringmesh.com turns out to be a marketing arm of theirs.

The stuff is popular among the SCA's rapier/Light fencers as lightweight but very stout and resistant protection, and it suits their aesthetic of having most of their protective gear look simply like everyday clothing.
