Trying to locate a book based on two pages

Post by Kindyr »

I was doing a bit of going down rabbit holes, and found a newspaper coverage of an armouring gathering at the Surly Anvil back in 2016 and one of the pictures has me curious.

The article can be seen here:

The specific image I'm curious about has two pages of the anatomy of a suit of armour

They aren't images that look familiar to me, so I'm hoping one of the Hivemind can help direct me to the appropriate book or guide. Definitely looks like something I should have in my collection.

Notice the language on the sides identifying parts is not English. If you can identify the language, it might help identify the book?

I have that book, I recognise the images, but I have no clue which book it is. If I can dig it out I'll come back and post. I just stubled in to see if anyone was still here. I haven't been here in ages.

I swear I posted a Thank you to Ergosum, but it doesn't appear to be here, so let me again thank you, sir. I will have to spend some time going through it with a bit of google translate.
