Bascot's Riveted Maille

I saw some of Bascot's newer Indian maille- it was really beautiful. I am convinced that it won't be long and those Indian companies will be making nearly perfect stuff- It was really different than the soda-tab looking stuff that was first showing up. I am psyched.

Did it have round or wedge rivets? Stainless or mild?

I hope to have my first shipment of riveted maille, made by my specifications (fully flattened rings, wedge rivets), in by August.
Shirts will run approximately $1200.

Round rivets. Round links flattened only at the overlap. 16 gauge mild steel galvanized, & 3/8" diameter. Made by Al Hamdd of India. Basically the same as what was discussed here earlier. The zinc is going to be removed. Why go to the trouble of riveting when you are going to use stainless?
