Left over elbows

So.. I've got these elbows.. anyone have any suggestions on what to do with them?

Oh, wait, you want something that has to with armour, don't you?

Put a vanbrace on them and give them out as largess.

Well, the second part of that was what I had intended. Not sure how to go abuot making a vambrace for these.. I have some leather, but the size of these elbows means I can't just rivet the leather to the metal.. it's way too big for anyone other than Popeye.

Can't figure out the four holes drilled near the middle of the cops, either. I imagine at some point they were rivetted to elbow pads. That'd work, I guess....

you could use strap style articulation and hardened leather lames. the four holes would work pretty well for strap articulation.

It's not real articulation, but it would work, and it would not look too bad.
