I made mine out of one piece. I just mirrored the pattern avaiable here. It was one on my first plate pieces. It is very forgiving and a great learning project. What did I learn? Roll the dges before you shape it, not after. Also, a large anvil makes this one alot easier to complete

I think something is wrong with the peascod he is wearing. The V cut-off on the bottom is there to be re-joined together and welded to get the proper peascod shape. Otherwise it's just an uncomfortable natch making 2 corner that spike you when u bend down.

This is one; I am working on.
The patterns came from the internet.
If I had to do it over, I would of not welded it.

I'm making one from one piece, but I will be having the bottom welded. One word of advice, work your pattern carefully in posterboard first. My attempt will require some extra metal to be put into the "V" cut on the bottom, because I didn't test fit it carefully enough.

Juste dish the bottom instead of cutting and welding it

Greetings all,

Would it be easier to raise the bottom of the peascod inward in the proper shape than to cut and weld it???
